展览鼓励女性在自我发展、空间建构上的思考与对话，激发个体积极参与生活营造的主体性，从而实现展览在观照女性自我成长与可持续生活维度的桥梁作用，激发社群对空间与职业选择等议题的关注与参与。

自上世纪60年代人文社科学界开始产生“空间转向”的视角变化，空间不再被视为一个“容器”或一个可有可无的场所，而是与政治、经济、历史、文化等问题相互影响的存在。随着研究的深入，空间与社会性别的关系议题也逐渐进入研究视野。

 本主题展关注于厨房空间与社会性别相互建构的议题。透过展示厨房空间的变迁及相关文献，呈现其中隐匿着的性别政治；同时通过艺术编创、影像拍摄等，演绎女性于厨房内外的工作，展现女性参与家务或公共劳动带来的个体觉察，及对场所精神建立的影响。

The exhibition encourages women to think and talk about self-development and space construction, and inspires individuals to actively participate in the creation of their own lives, thus realizing the exhibition's role as a bridge between women's self-growth and sustainable life, and stimulating the community's attention to and participation in issues such as space and career choices. Since the 1960s, when the humanities and social sciences began to change their perspectives on the "spatial turn," space has no longer been regarded as a "container" or a dispensable place, but rather as an existence that interacts with political, economic, historical, and cultural issues. With the deepening of research, the issue of the relationship between space and gender has gradually entered the research field of vision. This thematic exhibition focuses on the mutual construction of kitchen space and gender. Through the display of changes in kitchen space and related literature, the exhibition presents the hidden gender politics; at the same time, through artistic creation and video filming, the exhibition interprets women's work inside and outside the kitchen, showing the individual awareness brought by women's participation in household chores or public labor, as well as the impact on the establishment of the spirit of the place.
