江河之上：营造与复兴
UPON THE RIVERS: BUILDING AND REVITALIZATION
由东莞市中心城区“一心两轴三片区”建设现场指挥部主办、CABLE策展的《江河之上：营造与复兴》展览于2024年12月12日在东莞记忆首开区中兴路53号正式启幕。
东莞因水而生，伴水而兴。以独特的水文化为脉络，展览从莞城城市格局的历史变迁出发，聚焦东莞记忆首开区的蜕变，继而以“三江六岸”为坐标，扩展至更广阔的城市版图，展现东莞在新时代浪潮中对城市更新与文化复兴的探索。
通过生动的视觉叙事和互动体验，展览尝试在空间中唤醒历史记忆，邀请观众共同见证这座城市的焕新之旅。
The exhibition "Upon the Rivers: Building and Revitalization", organized by Construction Headquarters Office of Dongguan Central Area, and curated by CABLE, opened since December 12, 2024 in No.53, Zhongxing Road, Guancheng Street, Dongguan.
Dongguan was born from water and thrives alongside it. With its unique water culture as the thread, the exhibition begins by tracing the historical evolution of the urban layout of Guancheng, focusing on the transformation of Dongguan Sign First Phase. It then expands to a broader urban map using the coordinates of the “Three Rivers and Six Banks,” showcasing Dongguan’s exploration of urban renewal and cultural revival.
Through visual interpretation and interactive experiences, the exhibition attempts to awaken historical memories within the space, inviting the audience to witness a transformative urban journey.
